Your Teaching Topic website must include the following:
List of objectives – what will be learned and why we should learn it
Overview of topic, including definition, background, and how this topic is related to other topics
Tutorial, as appropriate
Links to additional resources, with assessment of relevancy and usefulness
Website must be portable (and uploaded) to classweb.students.cob.isu.edu
Minimum one 30-60 minute presentation. Students and I will assess your presentation.
7-10 multiple choice questions for a quiz.
Presentation should be “conversational” rather than a speech.
Audience should know the purpose of the presentation.
Audience should be able to ask questions.
Take into account what audience already knows (and doesn't know) – make your assumptions explicit.
You will be graded on both the presentation as well as the website.
