( Downloadable Brochure )
The Computer Information Systems program has its foundations both in business and in computer science. Students in the CIS program get a solid foundation in computer programming, the methods of building large systems, and the technical foundations of databases and networks. At the same time, students in CIS also get a well-rounded education in how organizations conduct business and how to manage those businesses. This allows graduates of our CIS program to better apply their technical skills to solving the types of problems that exist in modern organizations. CIS graduates have both the skill to identify the solutions that best fit an organization's needs, and the technical ability to implement those solutions.
