IDAHO STATE TAX INSTITUTE
The Idaho State Tax Institute is celebrating its 51st year of service to accounting and legal professionals. The institute is widely respected for its leadership in providing high quality continuing education at the lowest possible cost. The institute’s all-volunteer and independent board is comprised of many prominent and distinguished accountants and attorneys who, as a group, plan the program for an annual conference.
A typical annual conference program provides 10 continuing legal education (CLE) credits for attorneys and 12 continuing professional education (CPE) credits for accountants. The program is anchored by a tax legislation update given by Tom Ochsenschlager, Vice President – Taxation, AICPA. In addition, attendees from throughout the state and beyond hear presentations on such diverse topics as estate planning, partnerships, IRA distribution, probate, ethics and international taxation.
The 51st conference will be held in Pocatello November 5-6, 2009.
