The Accounting Program at Idaho State University is a premier program of the College of Business and is separately accredited by AACSB. The ISU Accounting Program offers a BBA in accounting and an MBA with an accounting emphasis. In spring 2009, 248 declared accounting majors enrolled in undergraduate classes and 16 students were enrolled as MBAs with an accounting emphasis. The program is known for its rigor and its consistent success in preparing students for entry-level positions in various career tracks in our profession. Our program regularly has been recognized as ranking in the top 10% nationally in terms of success rate on the CPA exam. We attribute this success to both the design and rigor of our program..

Each fall, accounting students attend the Accounting Career Vision Symposium, sponsored by Cooper Norman, the ISU College of Business and Beta Alpha Psi. The day-long immersion features major speakers, roundtables and small group interaction to help students connect with the business world and learn about the multiple career paths open to accounting graduates.
